He was born on July 24, 1973 in the city of Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo Region. In 2010 he graduated from Tomsk State Pedagogical University majoring in Physical Training for Disabled People and obtained qualification of specialist in adapted physical education. Now he lives in Khanty-Mansiysk and is head coach of sledge hockey team of the Sports Centre for the Disabled of Ugra of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Ugra.
